I am directed by the Controller to transmit the accompanying nopies of Jabedule (Form "y") Hong Long List 1 of claims against Germany.

Owing to amendments and alterations which had to be made in the original sobadule forwarded by you, the duplicate copy of which is returned herewith, it was considered advisable to prepare

r new schedule in this office and a copy is enclosed for your rocords.

3. As it is essential for purposes of accounting that Hong

long slaims should be expressed in dollar currency it was necessary 2ɔ convert your claims 2/5 and 2/4; and as also no good purpose om be served by forwarding a claim for an unknown amount, claims 4/15 o 4/18 on your schedule have been deleted. The claimant firm în V:ose cases should be instructed to communicate with the debtors ith a view to ascertaining the actual mount due before lodging heir claims.

4. It will also be observed that claims 7/1 to 7/11 of the artered Bank of India Australia and China have been struck out, ad I enclose a copy of a letter under sover of which the copies

accounts relating to these claims were transmitted to the lend Flos of the Bank in London.
